SUMMARY:Santa's Grotto - Sunday (Santa in the mill)
DESCRIPTION:Come and meet Santa and his elves at the windmill this weekend! \nThis was such a success in 2024 that we’re doing it again in 2025 on 2 days!\n \n\n\n\n\n\nChoose a 20 minute slot with Santa in the windmill from 10am. Present for every child.\nSee traditional Christmas decorations in the museum’s Barn\nStory telling with a Christmas theme.\nCraft activities for children\nTraditional spinning demonstrations.\nMulled wine\, Burwell Brewery ales\, hot chocolate and mince pies on sale.\nChristmassy soft toys and decorations on sale\nLocal history books on sale\nOther gift and Christmassy items on sale.\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets £15* per child. Only available online. (*plus small booking fee) ONLINE SALES END 7pm SATURDAY 6th DEC. If you miss the deadline feel to come to the museum during the day on Saturday to enquire if we have any time slots left. \nSunday tickets \n \nPlease enter name of each child\, plus their age and gender at the checkout where promted (This is so the present that they receive is suitable for their age and gender) \n\nMaximum of 6 children per slot (your child might be in a group of other children)\nOnly ticket holders meet Santa (accompanying parents/grandparents free of charge but don’t get a present 😄).\nThe Barn will be open to everyone\, including those not bringing children to meet Santa\, to see the demonstrations\, and make purchases at our pop-up Christmas shop.\n\nThe only buildings open will be the windmill (Santa’s grotto)\, the Main Barn and the toilet block. No access to other parts of the museum site or buildings. \n \n  \nParking :\nGardiner Memorial Hall car park\, just off the High Street near the 5 Bells pub. It will be signed as “Burwell Museum Open – Car Park” during opening hours. What3Words location of carpark entrance ///intestine.dictation.goat\nShort walk from rear left of the car park to the museum. \n\nDisplays/demonstrations/performances in the Barn may change\, but we will try to update this page with the changes as soon as possible.\n\n
