SUMMARY:Classic Car and Bike Day
DESCRIPTION:NO SMOKING ANYWHERE ON SITE! \nRoll back the years and join us for a friendly classic car and bike show. See fabulous elderly vehicles including our 1907 Holsman\, 1962 AEC Burwell & District coach and 3 Austin 7s\,  plus visiting vehicles including : 1965 Ford Mustang\, 1950s Citroen Traction. \nAlso\, a snowcat used in Antarctica by the British Antarctic Survey.  \nMore vehicles being confirmed daily. The ones listed are just a few of those that have been confirmed so far. There will be around 40-50 cars plus a selection of motorbikes. \nIf you would like to bring your own classic car or bike (the older or more unusual the better) please use the online form at the bottom of the page.  One of the Trustees will be in touch to let you know if we can accept your vehicle. \nSmall vintage tractors and vans are also welcome. We only have a limited amount of space but we will do our best to get as many vehicles in as is practical. \nPlease do not bring your classic car unless you have had confirmation from us. Those who have returned their forms and have had confirmation will be contacted by Saturday 15th August with instructions for getting on site on Sunday.   \n\nWhole museum open as normal.\nWindmill running (subject to sufficient wind and available\, trained\, volunteers).\nSpinning demonstrations (tbc)\nEnjoy refreshments from our tearoom\, including homemade cake. \nLocally brewed real ales from Burwell Brewery\, plus other alcoholic drinks available from our licensed bar.\nBreakfast roll for early visitors and exhibitors. Choose from bacon or sausage. £5 . Available by pre-order only here. Collect your order by 10:30am. Orders must be placed by 12 midday on Friday 14th August. (Image for illustration purposes only)\nBarbecue with burgers and sausages made with locally reared meat from Spinney Abbey .\n\nMuseum admission applies. (Driver and passengers of each classic car at this event will have free admission and free refreshments) \nBuy your admission in advance or at the museum on the day. \n   \nDogs are welcome on a lead. No dogs allowed inside our tea room or windmill\, except for assistance dogs. Water is available from the outside tap on our toilet block and the tea room\, but please bring your own bowl.
