Car Parking As the museum is in the middle of a residential area, we ask able-bodied visitors to not park in Mill Close and cause difficulties for our lovely neighbours! Please leave Mill Close for residents and the disabled.
- Free parking is available in the Gardiner Memorial Hall car park, in Burwell High Street (CB25 0HD, look out for the A-board opposite the car park entrance when we’re open).
- The museum is a short walk (about 200m) along Mill Close – find the museum sign (rear left of carpark), go up the path out of the car park and take the road which leads straight ahead just to your left.
- Carpark entrance location on What3Words ///intestine.dictation.goat and on Google Maps https://maps.app.goo.gl/VaG7SXJQSLqd2aQn7. Please note that this carpark is not suitable for anything larger than a 4×4 due to the risk of grounding on the steep entrance. Larger vehicles (camper vans etc) should use the Burwell Surgery carpark in Newmarket Road.
Additional parking is available at Burwell Surgery Car Park in Newmarket Road. (CB25-0AE). What3Words ///filer.viewer.spiking. This is located a few minute’s walk from the Museum via Newmarket Road, High Street and Mill Lane.
