Workshop 2 – String Art
Thursday 14th August: 10:00am to 11:00am or 11:30am to 12:30pm
During this workshop you will make some weaved string art using embroidery threads – we have so many colours to pick from. Have you tried thread painting before? Let’s makesome flowers and shapes using paint. This workshop is the fiddliest out of the four so adults please do get involved!
We highly recommend that you book your tickets online prior to the event. A small number of tickets will be available in the Kiosk on the day; these will be limited and sold on a firstcome-first-served basis. Please select a time slot. One ticket per child per time slot.
Tickets on sale from 9am on Sunday 1st June (online only)
Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of your workshop and wait at the kiosk/main gate. A member of our team will collect you from here. We ask that x1 adult per child attends and accompanies their child throughout the visit. Some of the workshops may be a little messy, so please dress in clothes that suit the activities!
The museum will only be open for the activities. It is not a general open day.
Season Tickets cannot be used for this event.
Driving/parking
Please park in the Gardiner Memorial Hall car park just off the High Street. 5 minute walk to the museum from rear of carpark. Directions here. Disabled parking in Mill Close.
