Community and Group Bookings
Burwell Museum aims to be at the heart of the local community …
We welcome adult groups and younger visitors including Beavers, Brownies and other youth organisations. We offer tours, talks, demonstrations and workshops on a variety of topics to appeal to all ages and skills. Each group is offered a short introduction to the museum, and we will be delighted to work with you to create a day you will remember.
GROUP BOOKINGS
The museum is open from Easter to the end of October and groups are welcome to book during this period. Outside the open season, we will do our utmost to accommodate your group visit, given a few weeks notice. ADMISSION CHARGES AND HOW TO BOOK Prices changing in 2024
Group booking costs £6 per adult and £3.00 per child for a visit during our usual opening hours (museum site shared with the public). For visits outside opening hours £10 per adult, £5 per child (exclusive use of the museum site for your group). A non-refundable deposit of £60 is payable in advance of your visit, regardless of group size. The deposit covers admission for 6 adults. Each additional person will be charged for on the day of the visit.
REFRESHMENTS FOR GROUP VISITS
The museum can provide light refreshments for group visits, for an
additional charge.
Tea, coffee and biscuits – included in visit, but please book this in advance, preferably at the time of booking your visit.
Afternoon Tea with tea/coffee and selection of savouries and cakes - prices vary according to quantity and selection. Please indicate in your enquiry if you would like this option so we can discuss it with you.
HIRE THE MUSEUM!
