There is no charge for accessing the ground floor of the mill where you can grind your own flour and watch our information videos. Mill Tour Safety (please read before purchasing a Mill tour).
We accept cash, cheques, credit & debit cards, Android pay and Apple Pay in the admission cabin. The Tea Room also accepts these payment methods.
Advance Tickets
You can buy your admission tickets online below. There is a small admin charge. Tickets can be downloaded (they will also be emailed to you), or posted. Just select the date you plan to visit. Tickets are only valid for the date you select and are not refundable unless the day is cancelled by us, in which case a refund will automatically be made within a few days.ACCESS AND FACILITIES
• A lovely tea room and gift shop serving hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks. Plus books, cards, local honey and crafts.
• Family friendly – children welcome. We have various outdoor spaces where children can play safely and a special indoor area for under-5s.
• Outdoor and covered picnic areas.
• Pushchair accessibility to ground floor of the mill and ground floors of the museum buildings.
• Wheelchair accessibility to ground floor of the mill and ground floors of the museum buildings. Stairlift to upper levels of the museum buildings (wheelchairs not provided).
• Toilets and baby-changing facilities.DOGS
Please keep dogs on a lead at all times. No dogs in the tea room or the windmill except assistance dogs. Fouling to be cleared up immediately. Water is available from the outside tap on the toilet block. We can lend you a dog bowl if you forget to bring one. If they are very well behaved they might get a dog treat (with your permission)!GROUP VISITS
Tours can be arranged for groups and organisations (for between 10 and 60 people), and we provide refreshments options for groups. For further information click here. -
